Anger and resentment...these seem to be a day to day occurance for me. My parents split more than ten years ago, my mom worked two jobs, my sister left for college....then there was me. Trying to take care of my mom emotionally....getting emotionally lost myself. I find myself angry at my son, my dog, my mom, my husband.....myself. I ask for forgiveness...but it doesn't seem to come....or maybe it's just me not forgiving myself. Thanks for the encouragment and for sharing your feelings. <3 Thanks so much. Things like how they feel about discipline, whether or not they want you to work or be a SAHM and raise your children, the breakdown of duties around the house...would he be a helper or have the attitude that you stay at home so he shouldn't help. Will he have treat you with a servants love..like Christ did the disciples. He was head of the church..but he loved them with servant love..will he love you like Christ loved the church....It is best to get that out in the open. God will bring the mate he has chosen for you when he feels you are ready....it will sneak up on you. I was 29 when I got married and had my first child. I'm not sure what is happening or has happened but no...It isn't trite. Especially when you sit with them and pray with them. It gives a chld a chance to see the burdens that we as adults sometimes carry and that we too must turn to our heavenly father. I have done this many a time with my own children. It's funny, you have crossed my mind a few times lately and I have sent a little prayer heavenward for you....I finally had some time to come out and see what was up.
